PANEL 7: Restaurant Re-Invention
Moderator: Jared Pfeifer
In the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, the restaurant industry has undergone a significant transformation. With changing consumer behavior and new health and safety regulations, many restaurants have been forced to re-invent themselves in order to survive.
This panel will explore the ways in which restaurants are adapting to the current landscape. We will discuss the rise of contactless dining and digital menus, as well as the use of technology to optimize kitchen operations and improve customer service.
We will also examine the emergence of new business models, such as ghost kitchens and virtual restaurants, and their potential to disrupt the industry. And we will consider the challenges and opportunities presented by outdoor dining, including the use of innovative design solutions to create comfortable and inviting spaces.
By bringing together restaurateurs, UX designers, and technology experts, this panel aims to provide insights and strategies for the industry as it navigates this new era of restaurant re-invention.
